The WOW factor in kung fu films

Kung fu and it is appearance in films
For most hundreds of years, martial arts, often known as kung fu in China and taiwan, have been practiced by huge numbers of people inside the mainland. However it was just until the emergence of the movie theatre that people started off placing kung fu moves into the big screen. While the huge increase of silent film producing was being created in the us, many small-time projects some might call the first kung fu movies were being created in Hong Kong. . Many of these movies have been missing as they weren't as well-known, but nonetheless they set the stage for that spreading of kung fu movies in later years in Hong Kong and also around the world.

The quest for the copies - An overwhelming task
The early movies that had been launched prior to the major huge increase for action cinema throughout the 1970's are certainly not frequently seen by theviewers these days, as they were in no way released on vhs, even though some have filtered into compilations and also boot legs. Subtitles and even dubbing were out of the ordinary to be showcased in the early films, and thus they are often conserved for their value as opposed to for pure entertainment.

The appearance of the Shaw Brothers
Famous film producers created a great deal of martial arts cinema within the Seventies and some of the key players were the Shaw Brothers (using their own studio), Godfrey Ho, and many more. However, When they were producing movies regularly, there was a rising star that would alter the range of the action cinema originating from Hong Kong.

Fighting techinques became very popular mainly due to the influence of Bruce Lee who turned out to be popular together with his first movie in 1971. He'd help generate a major international sensation that will see thousands of people learning martial arts, trying to find all the catalogues of Hong Kong kung fu films and so much more.
